Fearless Girl (24×36 oil painting on canvas)

Largely self taught,  Joe Zielinski began drawing and painting at a very young age.  As a child, his father owned a photography business where Joe was exposed to both the the creative and technical aspects of the business. Zielinski put these experiences to use, developing an artistic sensibility while honing his technical and graphic skills first at vocational school, and then as a woodworker and sign maker. He is known for his graphic, pop-art images of famous musical artists and iconic figures. By using harsh shadows and light, he is able to create easily recognizable portraits.
