Jane Wooster Scott was born in 1920 and grew up in a picturesque Pennsylvania town near Bucks County. She is known for her Folk-Art Americana depictions of celebratory traditions, holidays and nostalgic customs. In her travels she photographed oddities to recreate on canvas.
