Kina Lillet is a serigraph of an advertisement for the Lillet wine makers and distributors illustrated by Robert “Robys” Wolff in 1937. Kina Lillet, now known simply as Lillet, is Bordeaux’s first aperitif. The company was founded by the Lillet brothers in 1872. The subtitle reads “Au Vin Blanc de la Gironde” which means “Of White Wine from the Gironde”, Gironde being the area of France where Bordeaux is located.
This piece is not framed, however, we have included images of what it might look like in a simple, contemporary, black frame.
