Opal is a serigraph of a 1936 advertisement for the Swiss cigar company of the same name. Opal Cigar Co. was located in Beinwil am See, Switzerland, but appears to be out of business. The artist is unknown, but their understanding of graphic arts in advertisement is obvious in the simple and elegant composition of the piece.
This piece is not framed, however, we have included images of what it might look like in a simple, contemporary, black or gold frame.
