Yellow Abstract I (10×6 monoprint on paper)

Born in 1952 in Tokyo, Japan, Kaoru Tsuzawa finished his studies at the Tama University of Fine Arts in 1978. After his first solo exhibition in 1981 in Tokyo, Tsuzawa decided to live and work in France. In 1984, finally he arrived in Paris where he worked in the Hayter Engraving Workshop. From 1985 to 1987, working with ceramist Joan Artigas, he remained in Barcelona and admired the Catalan culture. Tsuzawa’s collage and monoprint work has been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions in France, Canada, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Austria and Serbia and Montenegro and Japan. Now he lives and works in Issy-les-Moulineaux in France
