About this artist

Born in Hungary in 1976, artist Zsuzsanna Szegedi currently resides in Massachusetts. She received her BFA in Painting & Illustration from the Massachusetts College of Art and has since received several grants and awards. Zsuzsanna’s works can be characterized by a looseness, that when combined with her use of light, creates an energetic composition. She uses striking color combinations to revive her landscapes. Zsuzsanna’s fresh outlook on local Boston scenes have a contemporary twist, whether she paints the bustling sidewalks of Newbury Street or views of the Charles River.
