Known for his work in Americana and wildlife, Redlin first came to painting after a motorcycle accident ended his pursuit of a career as a forest ranger. Growing up in South Dakota, Redlin developed a love of nature that often came through in his artistic work. Along with painting, Redlin studied the graphic arts at the St. Paul School of Associated Arts and worked for 25 years in the field of graphic design and illustration. His nostalgic themes and earthy colors make his pieces very popular.
