About Roy Lichtenstein
Roy Lichtenstein was born in 1923 in New York City and received his both his BFA and MFA from Ohio State University. He is best known for his influential Pop Art during the 1960s. Lichtenstein took a lot of inspiration from comic book art, which informed his signature style – thick outlines, bold colors, and Ben-Day dots.
