Louis Kronberg (1872-1965) was a well known American figure painter and art dealer from Boston, MA. He studied at the Boston Museum School under Frank Benson & Edmund Tarbell and was also an instructor at the Copley Society.
A noted impressionist, Kronberg went to Paris, where he was heavily influenced by the work of Degas.
His works are in the permanent collection of several museums including the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, Boston Museum of Fine Arts, the Metropolitan Museum, Art Institute of Chicago, Musee d’Orsay, and several others.
