About Liliana Serini:
Liliana Serini was born in Capri in 1932, where she got her initial inspiration for art from her father in her early years. She would go on to visit various artist’s studios & study with masters at Liceo Artistico. However, it was at her home where she would find her work improved overtime, due to her being able to work closer with her friends & getting needed criticism to refine her skills.
Her depiction of serene landscapes and expressive impressionism gives her work a real tranquility and peace. Her own representation of nature is exhibited with full translucency & precise but expressive brushstrokes. The delicacy of Serini’s work offers a sense of inner serenity for the viewer, almost offering a level of immersion that transports them into each of her works.
