About Heshi Yu:

Heshi Yu was born in 1935 in Shandong, Tiwan. He first studied at the Art Department of National Taiwan Normal University. Yu traveled to France in 1946 to further his studies at l’Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris. In 1968, he moved to New York and devoted himself to creating his own art. Yu works with mixed media, acrylic and ink. Yu blends the traditions of Chinese and Western fine art. Heshi Yu has become a very popular Chinese painters active in the New York art world.
