The Last of the First is a hand signed and numbered print by Frank Wootton depicting the encounter on October 5th, 1944, when flight Lieutenant Hedley J. Everard drew “first blood” from an ME 262 (the first operational jet in the history of warfare) as his fellow Spitfire pilots from the Royal Canadian Air Force moved in. This print is additionally signed by mentioned pilot Hedley J Everard.
