About this artist

Kessell’s artwork demonstrates his impeccable skill with amazing attention to detail. First painting his subject matter in watercolor, Kessell creates a detailed image of light and color. He then enhances the painting with intricate and expertly placed dots and lines with a very fine pen. Even after Kessell infuses his work with such great detail, he further embellishes the pieces with gouache to give more color and light to certain areas. The viewer is left with a magnificent sight to behold once each piece is finished.
