Tom has been painting since his boyhood in southeastern Michigan, where he drew initial inspiration from the beaches and waters of the Great Lakes’ coastlines. Having lived in New England since the early 90s, Tom is drawn to cityscapes, landscapes, beaches as well as the many fabled neighborhoods of historic Boston. In addition to painting, Tom is an accomplished writer, designer, builder and filmmaker. But he spends most if not all of his time painting these days. He is also available for private commissions and portraits.
