Coffee Time (24×31 signed and numbered serigraph on paper)

Originally from Arkansas, the artist now lives and works in Texas. After completing his Master of Fine Arts degree at the Univeristy of Arkansas in 1978, Hill’s working style moved from non-representational to figurative. His favorite images of people are often indicative of his friends and neighbors and in the style of Avery or Matisse. The idea for the women with the large floppy hats came from his grandmother. This was typical of her Sunday dress. He also loves to paint flowers and usually includes them in his paintings of people. He paints in acrylic, watercolor, adds collage, pencil and sometimes oil.
