Jerry Garcia was most well known as the singer/guitarist for the Grateful Dead. However he was a talented visual artist as well. He completed a series of limited edition prints that showcased his talent and versatility. In subject ranging from wild, colorful abstracts to surreal images of dragons, he displayed his sense of humor as well as his artistic ability. Garcia would sign his prints as they were sold. Consequently, at the time of his death, there was no stockpile of signed pieces. For that reason, his hand-signed artwork is highly collectible.
