Ken Elliott Oil Paintings, Pastels & Giclee Prints

Elliott’s earliest hands-on experience with art was gained while working for an art restorer in Texas, where he broadened his exposure to a variety of mediums and styles. He also worked as a picture framer and later as an art dealer, both of which helped Ken refine his knowledge and eye for art. In 1987, Elliott moved to San Francisco, where he began to experiment as an artist. He started oil painting and drawing with pastels, focusing on the California and Texas landscapes. After a few years of self-study, Ken attended Masters classes at the Santa Fe Institute of Art, studying under landscape artist Wolf Kahn. He further experimented with monotypes and collages. Ken currently lives in Denver, Colorado where he continues to enjoy portraying the landscape around him. He is shown in a number of galleries around the US, and his work is now sold in various media, including giclee reproductions on paper. All artwork available for sale.
