Michel Delacroix is a renowned and easily recognizable artist who works primarily in a primitive style. Known mostly for his busy Parisian street scenes that capture the bustling activity and distinctive architecture of the city, the artist also paints more tranquil scenes of the French countryside.Michel Delacroix Biography:
Born in 1933, Delacroix began painting at a young age. He eventually went to art school and after experimenting with different styles, began to develop a unique primitive naive style reminiscent of folk art. During the late 1970’s he began working in print making and his artwork was published and sold throughout the world. In the US, Michel Delacroix has enjoyed immense success, selling out numerous editions and printing several books on his artwork.
