Graciela Rodo Boulanger, originally from Bolivia, started her career painting the native Indians of the Andes mountains. She lived in Paris form many years where she studied under Johhny Friedlaender
, who one of the pioneers of color printmaking and aquatint etchings. She depicts the children in a fun-loving, whimsical manner that conveys the innocence of children in general. Often her work has a musical theme that is derived in part from her mother’s musical background. We have etchings as well as lithographs by this well-known artist.
