Graciela Rodo Boulanger, originally from Bolivia, started her career painting the native Indians of the Andes mountains. She lived in Paris form many years where she studied under
Johhny Friedlaender, who one of the pioneers of color printmaking and aquatint etchings. She depicts the children in a fun-loving, whimsical manner that conveys the innocence of children in general. Often her work has a musical theme that is derived in part from her mother’s musical background. We have etchings as well as lithographs by this well-known artist.
