Naira Barseghian is an Armenian born artist with a degree from the University of Fine Arts and Theatre in Yerevan. She didn’t begin working with ceramics and pottery until she emigrated to California in her mid-twenties. Recently, Naira and her husband Rafik have collaborated on pieces like these and continue to work together out of the studio attached to their home. They draw their inspiration from nature and its shapes, colors, and light.

About this artist

Naira Barseghian is an Armenian born artist with a degree from the University of Fine Arts and Theatre in Yerevan. They draw their inspiration from nature and its shapes, colors, and light. They are often visited in their studio by their three young children who love to play with their parents’ materials.
