Marcelo Babini was an Argentinian artist known primarily for his surreal abstract mixed media pieces. His work has been displayed both nationally & internationally.

About this artist

Marcelo Babini was born in Rio Cuarto, Argentina in 1958. Although Babini graduated from the National University of Rio Cuarto in the School of Communication Sciences, he honed in on his abilities as an artist at the Argentine Artists Workshop. Babini has exhibited many works in cities like Chicago, Posadas, & New York. He would also go on to win the 1st prize on numerous occasions for dozens of contests, including the Second National Meeting of Landscape Painters in 2002, the Falla 2003 Provincial Painting Competition, & the Third Painting Meeting Mar del Plata in 2007.
