Jane Wooster Scott was born in 1920 and grew up in a small eastern Pennsylvania town near Bucks County. She is known for her Folk-Art Americana depictions of celebratory traditions, holidays and nostalgic customs. In her travels she photographed oddities to recreate on canvas. With a close eye you will find reoccurring figures that grow along with the Scott family cat, Lollypop. Jane held a significant sense of fondness for America in the 20th century and her canvases perpetuate memories of the colorful past.
