Using a painterly style, her oil paintings of animals and people contain a whimsical, playful element while masterfully conveying light and shadow. Of her work and process, she says "I endeavor to weave into my paintings the light, the color, shapes and forms of the wonderful subjects in our midst." Ms. Schulthess is represented by galleries all over New England and has been featured in art shows and magazines.
