Charles Emery Ross was born in Cincinatti, Ohio, where he currently resides. After a career in advertising, serving in roles from graphic designer to copywriter, TV producer to partner, Charles Emery Ross now paints full time out of studios in Ohio and Florida. Ross has appeared in numerous solo and group shows. His award winning abstract work resides in many corporate and private collections throughout the U.S., Europe and Asia.
Ross' paintings are meant to capture a sense of adventure and exploration. Ross explains that his hope is to take the viewer somewhere, and that "it may not be the place the painting took [him], but perhaps someplace they've been. Or better yet - somewhere they haven't."
