Leah Mitchell

A resident of Boston Massachusetts, Mitchell paints in a contemporary, impressionistic style --- referencing textured seascapes, vast horizons, and billowing clouds. Inspired by her travels she paints using cool colors, whites, and neutrals to create abstract, familiar landscapes for all to enjoy. Although Leah received some formal art training at a young age, she is primarily self-taught, relying on her natural abilities and love of color and design to create her tranquil compositions. After spending time living in Italy and travelling throughout Europe studying art history & architecture she is beginning to explore new techniques and mediums such as mixed media and encaustic.   Other artists you may like: Anne Packard
