Elena Gualtierotti is an Italian artist known for her stunning realism paintings. The subjects of her paintings are still life with a modern vision, but using techniques borrowed from the old Flemish traditions.
The remarkably elegant paintings by Elena Gualtierotti draw much attention in the gallery. Viewers are constantly amazed at the manner in which she can replicate the look and feel of glass and her flowers look as if you could reach out and pick them off the canvas.
These paintings have dark backgrounds which makes them quite dramatic. However they are softer than more traditional Dutch style artwork because of a mottled and almost transparent effect as opposed to an opaque and heavy technique. We have several beautiful paintings for sale in the gallery.
