Fengming Ding was born in the Henan Province of China in 1968. She studied at the Henan Normal University and graduated in 1992. After her graduation she studied art for three years at the Central Academy of Fine Arts.
Her ability to render a still life with such clarity is remarkable. The delicacy of the flowers that she paints is clearly seen in vivid detail. She has also mastered how to portray the glass vases so that the light shines through and illuminates the painting.
