About this artist

Price Range: $2,500-$7,500 Ray Campbell is an immensely talented artist. A wine collector himself, his passion for his artwork is evident. He creates compositions filled with a complex array of the technical and the aesthetic. The level of detail in his paintings is remarkable as he includes the deteriorated labels and dust that has collected on the bottles. He also uses a technique called tromp'loi that fools the eye and creates the impression of depth by painting a shelf with fruit or cheese protruding over the edge. We have several of these outstanding paintings in the gallery, so please come in for a closer look.
