About this artist

Price Range: $5,000-$15,000 Giclee: $950-$1,500 Richard Brady was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, and educated at the Newark School of Fine arts. He journeyed to Florence in his early 20's and studied at the city's Accademia del Arte. After extensive travel in Asia, he returned to Italy, traveling throughout the country. He then re-settled in the US in the late 1970's. The Italian experience provided him with a classical education, an intimate knowledge of the tradition of Italian art, and a vision of the Italian landscape. Since moving to the US he has focused his attention more on American landscapes and still-lifes. The level of detail in Brady's paintings is astonishing, and his use of light is superb. Richard Brady's passion for painting is exhibited in the incredibly realistic landscapes and still lifes that you see here. He has had numerous one-man shows throughout the United States and abroad, and has won several awards for his paintings.
