Natasha Barnes is a South African born painter whose work is greatly influenced by the Lotus flower, which can be found in her work. She began her career as a chef before discovering her passion for expressionist painting. She is self-taught and very popular among art galleries and collectors.
Price Range: $1200-$5500 Artist Natasha Barnes was born in 1969 in South Africa. With no formal training, the artist developed her natural talent and passion for painting into a style of her own. Barnes combines color and texture in dynamic ways, evoking a sense of fluidity and movement in every piece.
Inspiration for Natasha's artwork stems from her travels and love for the rich images surrounding her life. The subject of her paintings dictates the flow of the paint, creating beautifully constructed abstractions.
Natasha has been working on large expressive abstract paintings on canvas in recent years. After a successful solo show in London in 2010 and sell out collections at art fairs in London and New York, Natasha's unique use of color and texture is becoming a sought after style in the galleries of London, Paris and New York.
