Peter Spatarro is a Massachusetts based artist whom we have shown in the gallery for many years. He paints using a timeless, classic watercolor technique, drawing from his formal training.
Painting mostly landscapes, some with architectural elements, Peter captures the color and character of his home state in particular, and New England in general. Another special attribute of his work is the attention given to light. Even his relatively colorless winter scenes come alive with the impression of the winter sunlight giving some warmth to the momement.
