This month, we are giving you a preview of our newest addition to the gallery: The watercolor still lifes of Meshkov Michaie.
Born in 1965, this young painter has been exhibiting in Russia since he was 15 years old. He has had numerous one man exhibitions in Russia and we are among the first galleries to show his work in the US.
The level of detail in these pieces is remarkable, especially given the unforgiving nature of watercolor. The combination precise lines and soft color give them a subtle elegance that is very rare.
