The remarkably elegant paintings by this artist draw much attention in the gallery. People are continually amazed at the manner in which she can replicate the look and feel of glass. Her flowers look as if you could reach out and touch them. These paintings have dark backgrounds which makes them quite dramatic. However they are softer than more traditional Dutch style work because of a mottled and almost transparent effect as opposed to an opaque and heavy technique.
